What should I include in a five-offset ball valve enquiry?
Provide the required valve arrangement or drawing, medium, pressure and temperature envelope, size, connections and shut-off criteria. Include the requested offset geometry so the terminology can be checked against the intended design.
Is a five-offset ball valve the same as a penta-offset butterfly valve?
Do not assume that the names describe interchangeable designs. Confirm the valve architecture, sealing geometry and supplier drawing before comparing or selecting a configuration.
